How to show verse explanations

A commentary is a book that explains the meaning of a Bible verse in the author's own words. Commentaries are not authoritative, that is, they are words from a man and do not claim to be inspired by God. However, Bible teachers who write commentaries can help you understand the Bible by comparing other passages, translation notes or explaining the context.
