1 Thessalonians 3:11 — "Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you."

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 — -"Now there are diversities of gifts, but of the same spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God, which worketh all in all."

Titus 3:4-5 — "But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."

(Compare to Titus 2:13 — "Looking for the blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.")

Romans 1:7 — "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (There are many instances of this sort in all the Pauline epistles.)

James 1:1 — "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting."

John 14:23 — "Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." "We," God and I.

2 Peter 1:1 — "Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ." (Compare this with the RV.)

Colossians 2:2 — "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ." (See RV.)

John 17:3 — "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."

John 14:1 — "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."

(Compare to Jeremiah 17:5-7 — "Thus saith the LORD; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.")

Revelation 7:10 — "And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."

Revelation 5:13 — "And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."

(Compare this with John 5:23 — "That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him.")

Proposition: The name Jesus Christ is coupled with God the Father in numerous passages in a way that it would be impossible to couple the name of any finite being with that of the Deity.
