When God created Lucifer, He gave him a throne, and lead the entire angelic host praising and worshipping God. Also, Lucifer was given inside knowledge and wisdom, thus knowing that God would one day create the Human race, knowing the Lord's Mercy, grace and slow to anger. Lucifer decided out of pride, that he can "run the show better" exalting his throne above God's to no prevail. Covincing 1/3 of the angels, Lucifer failed, thus getting kicked out of the 3rd heaven to the 2nd, becoming Satan, were he is know the prince of air, trying to immitate God, as an angel of light. But this great deciever along with his fallen angels will spend eternity in the lake of Fire.
