| Sunday School Lesson 215 Israel fights with Amalak |
|
Lesson: 215 Lesson Name: Fight with Amalak Reading: Exodus 17:8-16; Deuteronomy 25:17-19 Memory Verse: Heb. 7:25 Point 1: Amalek, Esau's grandson, is a picture of the flesh at enmity with God. Amalek fought against the faint and weary Israelites and attacked the hindermost (Deut 25:17,18). Notes: The flesh is the evil corrupt nature we all possess through Adam. Even when we get saved, God does not remove it, but instead, he gives us a new nature that in itself cannot do the evil things. The flesh is incurably bad and will not change.
